Cooking Test Pros and Cons

The product arrived in a small box along with two other items ordered. Used Revain Prime 2 days shipping and took 3 days to get here. Not such a big deal as 3 days was still acceptable and it usually takes an extra day for Revain items to get to me. The box was tightly packed with no damage. I think it's good that you can do a cooking test to get the right temperature. I bought a few units and had to adjust each one (just a few degrees). The only downside to this boil test is that you need to…

Great for the kitchen and dining room

I have this to cook ribs. I wanted the oven thermometer to stay in the roast while it was roasting. Although a bit difficult to read, it was fairly easy to use. The only problem is that the temperature scale starts at 50 degrees Celsius, which is 122 degrees Fahrenheit. (He has both scales). Also, I even have a digital one, but I love having it in my kitchen because 1) digital can't be in the oven and 2) I can use it as a quick reference for whatever I'm cooking in the cases. where I use digital and then I don't have to pull out my phone to check what temperature I should be aiming for (I should know by now, but I…

Good thermometer after calibration

I like the fact that this thermometer can be used in the oven/grill and that it has a glass lens. However, I quickly found that it wasn't very accurate out of the box. Having bought two different models of this type of thermometer, I once put both in a piece of meat and got a 30 degree variant. This is not good. I was about to ask for a refund when I noticed the 'boil test' mark on the front of the thermometer dial. The lightbulb lit up. I put a pot of water on the stove to boil and then dipped
