Exceeded my expectations. Excellent performance and value.

I compared several binoculars that cost 3 times as much, decided on them based on other reviews and was delighted. They replace a pair of Fuji 7x35s (8x42s in today's overvalued currency) that have fallen and died. I like the build quality and the extra step up over the old ones. Not waterproof: Binoculars

I bought these binoculars specifically because they need to be waterproof. I'm replacing a pair that got wet and worn out during a canoe trip at the BWCA. And without sending them on a dangerous journey. I never considered having working binoculars until I had them when I needed them for navigation. I almost bought this product because the eyepiece adjustment was described in the Hard Core Camper review. However, knowing that Celestron is known for making generally high quality optics, I couldn't believe that adjusting the right eyecup could potentially cause one eyecup to move 1/2 inch from the other. eyecup.
