So our windshield is blocked by another suction cup. So we bought that as an alternative. It sits well on our dash and doesn't block the driver's view. If I didn't have another device I'd probably use a suction cup, but it's a good alternative.

We found this to be the perfect solution. The navigator in our truck has a vision problem and wants the sat nav to be next to her. If the driver is alone, the navigation should be nearby. And when navigation isn't being used, it should be out of sight. This bracket allows everything. We move our navigation to other places without any problems. Great solution.

This product works great with my Garmin Nuvi. The suction cup mount doesn't stick to the windshield - no matter how often I clean the glass or the rubber cup. It sits on the dashboard on the left side of the roof pillar and stays there. The bottom material of the bean bag is a bit rough to keep it in place. The fastening system is rotationally adjustable and can be locked in place by simply moving the locking lever. I highly recommend it.

This is more reliable than suction cups, which are bound to fall off at the worst possible moment.
