Easy to Use - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Cheese is spring loaded into the base so it's important not to use too big a piece or push it in too hard. The rubbing motion is gentle and the handle is easy to use. Once you've done this, the cheese will flow out evenly with nice cuts. The grater can be easily removed after unlocking the cylinder and cleaning is extremely easy. It's so much better than the old fashioned way, it's the only way to grate cheese!

It's hard to work with the best graters, peelers and slicers

I hate grating cheese. Every time I have to do this I lose skin on my joints. Thought I'd try this chopper to make things easier. I don't know exactly what the problem is. I had to keep it funky to make it work. I couldn't do this for a long time due to arthritis in my hands. This is a great idea, but I'm wondering if anyone tried this before bringing it to market. Because I can't use it without hand cramps. cause pain, I drop it and go back to my usual hand chopper.

Doesn't really work, at least for hard cheeses

I liked the idea of this grater with a feeder built into the handle versus a flimsy plastic press of something like a Zyliss spinning grater. Unfortunately, this is actually a design flaw. • The handle becomes very thick and difficult to hold for those with small hands. • The spring loaded feeder is not applying enough pressure to efficiently or effectively grate the parmesan. • Grating parmesan inefficiently requires small pieces of product. fits into the feed handle, which in turn requires…

Goodbye grated knuckle

The rotating cheese grater is a real step forward for our kitchen. Its smooth and rounded edges make it comfortable and light to hold. In the hand it feels light but strong. Although we've never had a rotating cheese grater, it's intuitive to use. It turns out to be well-crushed hard cheese. Please note that it is not intended for use with soft cheeses such as cheddar. It easily disassembles into three parts for easy cleaning. The grid mechanism, which needs to be cleaned after each use, slides

Smooth and lightweight for graters, vegetable cutters and slicers

Love it. Do you know how much grated cheese I buy on average per month? Of course not, but let me tell you it's a lot. I made French onion soup the other day, thinly sliced my Gruyère cheese and didn't have much fun. I was about to reach for my cheese grater and decided I didn't want to clean it. I wish I had one of those cheese graters that Italian restaurants use for Parmesan. Just turn the little knob and pour in cream cheese. Then I thought - Revane MUST have one of these! I'm so glad I…

Cheese Grater at Kitchen & Dining

I'm not too keen on the springtime idea of twisting the handle to grate cheese. I added a few pieces of cheese, twisted the knob and nothing. I then added more pieces of cheese, thinking I needed more to press it against the wheel making the grate, but again nothing. What happened was the 2 pieces with the 'gears' turning the handle and turning the grater fell apart. I found that if I held my thumb on the gray top to hold the two parts of the gear together as I turned the crank, the cheese…
