Good but.: Sports Equipment

This solved the issue of the screen being too low for this 6'4 golfer. It raises the umbrella 3 inches and allows you to tilt it. However, you could make it more slanted and you wouldn't have to take it off every time you fold the 3.5+ and put it in the trunk. In this form, it sticks out and will inevitably break.

the bolt broke off at the point where it was attached to the cart

everything was ok until a few weeks ago the bolt which attached the device to the cart broke. That means the bolt on the side of the carriage broke and I haven't found a good way to get the bolt out of the carriage. It's easy to buy a new umbrella holder, but replacing the carriage is very expensive. I live in Southern California, so umbrellas play a big part in golf here. he was only idle for about 1.5 years.

Increases required screen height

My husband has been using the Clicgear 3.0 trolley for several years. The only thing he never liked was that the standard umbrella holder was too short. Someone of average height or larger who cares about their eyesight will spend most of the round trying not to hit themselves in the face if they come under an umbrella. This mount increases the height to give medium sized golfers a little more room. In combination with the Clicgear umbrella, he no longer has to bend down.

Perfect for Summer - Sports Equipment

This umbrella holder works great, attaches well to your car and still rotates without detaching which is great when you need to point your umbrella at your car seat accessories. Map to create the perfect spot to relax while waiting for all those slow golfers. I'm 6ft 3in and probably a little taller in my hat. I use two spacers to get the screen high enough so I don't have to dive under it. Buy this product. On a summer day under a parasol it is at least 15° cooler! By the way, it attaches to a

Fits Sun Mountain Wheelbarrow

Bought this for my daughter hoping it would fit her Sun Mountain wheelbarrow as her mount is currently out of stock. The threads fit perfectly and it even fits the plastic "brackets" under the storage cart. Overall this umbrella is a great piece and seems to be quite durable. The fact that it has the ability to adapt is even better. Anyone who gives a negative rating/star because they don't hold their umbrella securely in a storm is probably not using it properly. It's not designed for golfing…

Adds height and adjustability!

This is a great addition to your Clicgear trolley. I have a model 8 and am 5ft 8in tall, so the standard umbrella holder brings the bottom of the umbrella right over my head - barely. This holder increases the height and also allows you to adjust it so that you can adjust the handle to the correct height and still keep the umbrella straight. Now for a few cons. It's heavy - it's an essential item and you'll need to put it in your bag or trunk as it can't be attached to your shopping cart. It…

Like any other, this one is very effective and pleasant to use.

Great option to tilt the Clicgear screen. As a bonus for my friends at Clicgear, I bought a black Clicgear umbrella, 68 inches, and the best part is that the handle of the umbrella fits the cylinder perfectly. When the wind picks up, the rubber handle on the canopy and the perfect diameter receiver tube, the connection between them creates a strong bond. What is the difference if you have Clicgear products such as angle adjusters? Being able to defend against swirling fog is one of the issues…

Works as advertised

I go to our classes all the time and here in South Carolina the sun can be hated so I went in search of an umbrella to hook up to my Clicgear 3.0 trolley can. I ordered and received the original Clicgear brand umbrella. I put the umbrella in the holder and immediately understood why this adjustable holder is a Clicgear accessory. Without this adjustable mount, the screen tilted forward so much that I couldn't see where I was going. So I ordered this adjustable holder. This adjustable holder…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Recommendation: If you live in a part of the country where the wind is least, this adjustable umbrella holder will probably suit you. If it's still windy, think twice. See my thoughts below. This is a good umbrella holder to replace the standard umbrella holder that comes with the Clicgear golf cart. This will customize/shape your umbrella to fit your needs. In my humble opinion this should be Clicgear's 'standard' umbrella holder (a little pricey to buy what should be standard) for all…
