Very disappointed good for needles

Used clover needles before and never had a problem. It was a disaster. The plastic rope started coming off the needle (both ends) after about half an hour of knitting, tangling the yarn and refusing to slip. throw them away Edited October 18th: The brand new 24" Clover circulars I'm using instead of the 16" circulars I just threw away are starting to do the same. Yarn sticks to connections. I think I'm giving up on Clover completely.

The size was in stock. Do they stay clean and smooth?

I'm trying to learn how to knit hats. My local store doesn't stock circular needles smaller than 29 inches. The patterns say I need to use 16 inch needles. Collect oils from hands, such as B. hand lotion, etc., and then collect dirt. they look a bit discolored. I have a lot of yarn that's been around for a while. I use and reuse to learn. Everything I do needs to be washed. I'm curious how long they stay smooth.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Good quality wood but expensive

These needles are the highest quality needles my wife owns. They are made from very high quality wood that will likely last a lifetime. However, I would not buy them again due to the fact that my wife also likes the inexpensive ones when it comes to knitting. So if she's happy with 4 needles for about $9 and also 12 needles for about $3 then of course I'll go cheap. Overall a great product and if you really want quality buy these needles. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. For me…

Pros
  • Confident

  • Out of fashion

Just the right feel and the yarn glides without slipping

I have been knitting for many years although not an expert. I was always using plastic or metal needles until the shop owner suggested trying bamboo needles. They were a size 4 with a double lace for a mitten project and I really liked them. In this smaller size they are a bit flexible which takes a little getting used to but I really enjoyed knitting them. Building on that success, I decided to try this #7 circular needle for my current project, a winter hat. The larger needle is not flexible,
