LOVE this: Knitting needles

I use them on almost every pair of socks with knit cuffs unless I'm knitting 2 at a time on 2 longer rounds. I crochet quite a bit of lace socks and this is just perfect for the cuffs. I tried to buy this at a local yarn store and the shop owner informed me that they don't carry needles that small because they are "bad for our skin". Hands." I've been using them for about two years now and haven't had any problems with my hands either during or after using them. The end result is much more…

Pros
  • This is great

  • Some mistakes

Good for small knitting projects

I've been knitting for a few years now and have recently started making projects that require a specific needle size. The latest project I've been working on is a pair of fingerless gloves that require 6 and 8 inch circular needles (the smallest I could find are 9 inch needles). Although these are 9 inch needles, they definitely fit the gloves I'm working on simply because the gloves need to stretch to fit the forearm and hand. So these needles are perfect for gloves. sure, what else can i knit

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Do not give up.

I bought it to knit the sleeves of a sweater I'm knitting at the moment. In the first few rows I was ready to give up and pull my DPNs but decided not to give up and keep going. I won't lie, it takes some getting used to. They are tiny, uncomfortable to start the first few laps. But I continued to weigh the pain with DPN battle ladders and moved on. After lengthening the sleeve a bit, I didn't even notice how small the pins were. I felt like knitting normally, my speed was back to normal. If…

No DPS no problem. For header reduction

Suitable for header reduction, but more cumbersome than dpns. They have tiny needles so they are very difficult to hold and can aggravate carpal tunnel or arthritis if you have one. I'm also not a fan of the metal bending that's common with one-size-fits-all round clovers, I just find it embarrassing. But I think it's to reduce the scope as that makes sense. I could easily close a hat knit with 5 stitches, so maybe an adult sock would be fine. The transitions from metal to wood are very smooth,

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive
