We store our ground coffee in a Tupperware-like snap-top container. Or we did it until it broke. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a replacement and how expensive it was. Stumbled upon this and thought why not? Reasonable price and fast delivery Prime. Well it works fine. Easily fits in a standard 12 ounce bag with room for more. Not too tall for a coffee rack and thin enough not to take up too much space. The "snap button" mechanism for putting the top on and off works well and…

Description of goods - advertising.

The product arrived quickly and in excellent condition. And I figured that compared to freshly ground coffee stored outdoors in a countertop bowl, for example, Coffeevac probably keeps the coffee fresh three times longer. But don't fall for the hype. Revain's product page says "The Ultimate Vacuum Sealed Coffee Container" and the product description says "Patented Vacuum Closing System". Neither the one nor the other is true. Coffeevac creates a hermetic seal, not a vacuum…

Perfect for keeping coffee fresh, no vacuum pump

I keep all my freshly roasted coffee beans in this container before brewing. I really believe this product keeps my beans fresher because it protects them from light and comes in an airtight package. I think some reviewers were upset because they thought a vacuum was attached that would suck all the air out of the canister, but it doesn't. It has an airtight seal that prevents air from getting back into the canister, protecting it from moisture and stuff. Pros: - Durable - keeps coffee fresh…

Poor quality - don't let the aesthetics of the product fool you

This product did nothing but make my morning coffee a nightmare. The product comes well packaged and it looks like you are buying a useful product in terms of marketing, right? A vacuum coffee container that holds 1lb of coffee but the truth is you are getting an overrated product that has no real use. As other customers have pointed out, this product is not vacuum packed as the name might suggest. But what was worse for me was that after a few days the food sealing mechanism stopped working…

Vacuum is a misnomer

This is a lightweight sealed container. However, it loses a point for not being a true vacuum seal. There is a button on the top edge of the lid that needs to be pressed when the lid is placed on the base. This button allows you to remove trapped air from the container when the lid is lowered; However, this only creates a "vacuum" if someone tries to lift the lid without pressing the button to let air back into the container. This button does nothing to reduce the air pressure inside the jar…
