Unbelievable!: Parts

I have a 2012 Mustang V6 in stock. This consumption changed the world for me. My car used to sound like a Honda Accord, but now it sounds like a stock V8 mutang. Sounds powerful, and now I like to step on the gas. I feel more HP, although I can't be sure how much more it gave me. And when I drive slowly (hard with that new sound) I save more fuel.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Not sure

I don't like that they didn't drill three holes in the airbox, they just located them. I had to drill them myself and they didn't include all the clamps needed, they needed another 48mm hose clamp! Update: They sent me air cleaner caps instead of the clamps I needed and they did it twice, they have a real problem there!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Update available

More aggressive for V6

Bought for a friend of a 2013 Mustang 3.7L V6. Installation was straightforward and easy, took about an hour while I was busy with other things so probably takes about 30-45 minutes at a decent pace to remove the factory sling and install this one. Adds good throttle response and sound, definitely lets the engine breathe better. Good design and fits well in the engine compartment with a custom look. This is what the Mustang needs to level up!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Frequency

2012 V6 Mustang Base

Nothing about this $400 product suggests "quality". it seems to fit. The airbox mounting hole did not match the stock box (not even close); I had to drill another hole in my car's inner fender. Only then is it correct. The aluminum tube wasn't even fully "chromed" where the MAF sensor was, it looked like brown rust. There were also chrome flaps around the hole where the plastic barbed nipple goes, which I had to remove before I could screw it in. The plastic cover they give you for the top of…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Nice system but slight design flaws

Purchased for a 2013 Mustang V6. Equipped with a cold air intake duct from the grille area (in front of the radiator), the Mustang works well with this kit, which uses the same intake duct as the air source. I chose this cold air kit because it doesn't have the clunky open layout offered by the K&N competitors that use a weatherstrip to connect the open air box to the underside of the hood. I would imagine the interface between the airbox and cowl leaves worn marks on the cowl and cowl…

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Damaged
