A must for every bike.

I use it on the back of my Ninja 300 and also on my bike and I've hauled everything from groceries to a whole large pizza in it. It stretches very well and is generally very durable. I am very happy with it. Best of all, it's compressed enough that I can stow it in a hopelessly small underseat storage space! Update: My only complaint is that the little rubber heads on the hooks sometimes fall off. As long as you're careful, this shouldn't be a problem at all.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Smells Horrible: Cargo Nets

Item arrived with an incredibly strong chemical/rubber smell. As soon as I opened the package I had to wash my hands to get rid of the smell. I thought if you spread the item out in the basement it will weather. However, it just filled the basement with smell and I didn't notice any noticeable reduction in smell after a few days. I decided I couldn't leave this item behind. I know this may not matter to most users and the item may be ok if it releases gas for a long period of time. However, if…

OK but some issues

When I opened the bag 2 hooks were not connected and some of the rubber tips that go on each end of the hooks were loose in the bag. Just put the 2 hooks back on (but all 6 hooks need to be bent with pliers to stay on the net. As for the rubber caps, they dangle and fall off by themselves, you will lose them...if you want to to leave them you have to glue them in place coleman does some products well and others are crap (check out their cheaper tents) it probably falls into the crap category ok

  • Impressive

Money down the drain - thrown away.

No complaints from seller but I bought two of these and they came out of the box with a very strong chemical smell, worse than an open can of petrol. I guess keeping them in the house would give me a headache. I left them overnight to see if they stopped smelling but they don't so I immediately threw them in the trash. Tomorrow I'm going to my local Ace hardware store, although I already know they have elastic cords that don't give off any nasty odors at all. These things are so thin they have…

Ideal for milk crate or bike basket

I have a milk crate attached to the back of my bike which I use to carry groceries and other small items. Perfectly sized to cover a crate, this cargo net will expand 2-3 times its original size to accommodate items that are too big for the crate. The bungee cords and hooks feel thick and strong and I expect this net will last at least a few years. The only downside I noticed is that the hook caps fall off incredibly easily. The hooks are solid and covered in rubber, but the tips are exposed…

Trapped in My Net - Cargo Nets

at an unbeatable price. The actual elastic part of the product appears to be relatively well made, probably last night it appears to be relatively well made and will likely last for quite a while. The hooks are made of relatively durable metal with rubber pads. Those rubber covers keep coming off and that's why I gave it 4 stars. I was tempted to give 3 stars but the price is so cheap I couldn't bring myself to give less than 4 stars. I recommend using some super glue when you first receive the
