I received the 84 piece set with socket wrenches, screwdriver bits and hex keys. Everything works well and the hex keys are especially handy for putting furniture together and doing bike adjustments. The compact plastic case is fairly solid and the plastic latches snap open and shut easily but I don't know how well it will last for a professional person. Good enough for occasional home use though.

the case could be a little bit stronger esp for the durable tools that are in this case. you can tell these tools are going to last us a long while.we love that it's very organized with a mix of everything that you'll need to fix cars, rebuild some of old furniture and even for small minor issues around the house. all the pieces were there and each head fits well we didn't have to struggle to tighten them.

I, like many people have a set of tools in my garage. This Crescent set is well made. Its small enough to fit in a drawer. The pieces appear strong enough for most general handyman chores around the house. The finish is high quality and the chrome didn't block any openings on the sockets. Ratchets performed as expected. Overall this is a really nice set to have in your home.

Crescent is known to be a decent brand and this 84 piece set lives up to my expectation of quality. There is a good assortment of sockets and allen wrenches if you are a beginner or novice like myself. Even as a novice though, I do wish this basic set came with some kind of pliers. That is a basic tool one would expect in a basic mechanics set. If you already have pliers and wrenches and just mostly need sockets, this is a good buy. But, for a few bucks more it might be better to go for the 148

Great tool set for a girlfriend/wife who wants their own set of tools for around the house. I personally used the wrench and the teeth are very smooth. No locking up and changing sides. Great set!
