I bought these for the laptop I use in my dining room/kitchen when I cook. I've been playing Youtube Christmas carols on it for about a week and am amazed by the clarity, lack of static audio control and great overall presentation. I highly recommend them for an area where you just want to improve the sound of your computer or laptop. 5 Stars!

WOW. I got my money's worth. These little ones (give 5 1/2 x 1 3/4 x 3 1/4 x monsters) make a BIG sound. Replaced a number of "L” company speakers. It made those sound awful. I bought a three piece set for $70 and was never impressed. These impress me. I'll get another kit and switch to surround sound. They are great and I would and will recommend them. lee

Big speakers, not small but not big either! The sound is great for a TV or laptop or regular computer! I bought these for a new 20" tv because like most new tv's the speaker openings or sound are on the back of the tv and you have to turn the volume up to get a clear sound! With these speakers the volume never exceeds 18 and the sound is crystal clear, much better or superior! You can't buy better speakers for the money!

Excellent sound quality and really good volume for its size. I like that they are USB powered. I use them with my laptop to play music in my home office and they fill the room with high quality, loud sound. The only complaint is the length of the cable separating the left and right speakers. I have a 30 inch monitor and they don't have enough room to fit on either side of the monitor. I deduct a star for that. I know they're only $16, but how much would an extra foot of wire add?
