Faulty Tensioner Fails to Deliver Results

Using this product, our team found that it failed to provide the necessary tension for our car's belts, resulting in constant slipping .The only positive we can give is that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, the negative impact on our vehicle's performance far outweighs any convenience. Not recommended..

Pros
  • Easy installation and smooth operation for improved engine performance.
Cons
  • Pricier than some other tensioners on the market.

So far happy with the belt tensioners

Almost identical to the stock part although the pulley appears to be plastic and the standard pulley is metal. Not sure yet if this will affect durability. Assembly was very easy, just one screw. The instructions say 24 lb-ft of torque, but I went through them anyway and found it was 30 for the LB7, so I went with that. I installed these and new idler pulleys with a new Gatorback belt and now it runs smooth so I'm happy. I will update if anything changes

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Easily repairable
