Type of review

Based on the experience of operating three sets of Premium Contact 6 on three crossovers in the family in dimensions 235/60/18, 235/55/18, 235/55/17 since 2022, I can conclude that the rubber is definitely worthy for use on asphalt. It is pleasant and comfortable to move on it, both on dry and wet roads both in the city and on the highway on a long trip, everything is confident and predictable.

Pros
  • Softness and accordingly comfort, extremely low noise. Excellent grip and braking, both on dry and wet pavement. Surprisingly not bad wear resistance despite the softness of the rubber compound.
Cons
  • A thin sidewall, which does not mean that hernias are easy to form, but nevertheless, in theory, you should be prepared for this.

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

Its pros: quiet, controlled ok, not afraid of water, acceptable consumption. Some cons: About the sidewall, the truth is weak. Broke in the first month.

An unattractive product, an unprofitable purchase.

Bought in size 235/45/18 98W XL FP, made in Portugal. I did not expect this from a premium, expensive rubber. Already ordered a new one. In theory, it is possible to operate with such damage on the rear wheels. But I won't risk it. It is not known, perhaps some layers of rubber are broken and this is a future hernia. For myself I understood one thing, like many others. That all these tests, advertising, marketing, and even reviews are complete nonsense. Every tire is different. Just like…

Pros
  • Manageability, comfort.
Cons
  • Too soft, which also causes rolling at high temperatures, weak sidewalls, far from quiet, not for our roads, and this is true. I don’t understand how FP or FR (disc protection) can work if the sidewalls themselves are simply not designed for this. Is that from the side pressing. Any, not even the biggest hole, and the wheel to throw. I drove around the accident, to a complete stop, drove onto the curb 5-6 cm slowly, knowing about the profile 45, not the lowest. A slight thud, it feels like I'm driving over a curb with a flat tire. Heat, in the wheel 2.8 was. That's it, the sidewall is in the trash, a piece of rubber just broke off like a bar of chocolate. I didn't feel any tire resistance at all. This is a star guys. The wheel is 4 months old.

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

This is the 3rd set of summer continents that have been in the last couple of years, before that there were both premiumcontact5 and sportcontact3. A tire for those who understand what they want and deliberately make a choice, and do not go on about advertising. People who do not understand, do not enjoy driving, or buy high-speed tires for 30 km / h city driving, are unlikely to appreciate them, because they simply do not understand the advantages and do not notice the disadvantages…

Pros
  • Good grip and handling.

It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

The seller of Shinservice refuses to work with a warranty case, sends it directly to the manufacturer and does not provide a written refusal. There is no damage on the working surface of the tread. . Shinservis forwarded a letter from Continental, where it is indicated that the cause of the rupture is driving at low pressure, therefore the warranty is denied. You can rate yourself. 2. The last two torn wheels were replaced under warranty. Continental removed, put the Michelin.

Pros
  • Not found yet, maybe I will add.
Cons
  • On the third day after installation (mileage on a new set of 100 km), while driving on the highway, a wheel burst. . A month later, another wheel broke, now clearly on the curb. 2. Another wheel (the third) was torn, from a light touch of the curb, the rubber on the sidewall was cut off to the cord.

The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

Bought in the summer of the 19th, Czech, 05/19 production . "thrown away" in April the 22nd, seeing on the spring change of shoes on one "of" . a steel cord on the inside . The tires are excellent, no complaints . We traveled 36t km, they were worn out almost to the hydroplaning indicator, I wanted to drive to the south and "scheduledly" throw it away . but when I saw that very thread I decided not to risk it, life is more expensive :)

Pros
  • I liked everything, but.
Cons
  • . on the inside, a steel cord was suddenly found to come out .

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

Very cool tires for the summer season! The ideal value for money, after studded winter tires, riding a horse is a pleasure. The feeling that the car was designed specifically for this rubber, the rubber is very quiet and soft, but when you give gas it becomes clear that the handling is also at a very high level. I bought and did tire fitting in Exclusive for opticians, I trust them in all matters related to tire motoring and balancing. By the way, before that I rode a studded sailoon, this is a

Not happy with this product, bad in use.

When buying a new car, they were Continental Premium 5. I drove 100,000 km on them in 5 years. I decided to buy the same but newer models, "premium 6". In the description, it’s just a fairy tale, silence, fuel economy, etc . I drove 60 thousand on them in 3 years, and the state is 5 years old. So far I fell in 2022 for 4170. Next summer again it is necessary to look for new wheels. Now these cost about 8 thousand. Disappointed . as if they are doing worse and worse . many complain about the…

Pros
  • I liked the description of the advantages of these tires, very beautiful!
Cons
  • Actually a disappointment

In terms of wear resistance, I assessed it in advance, because. I've only used the first season so far. Tip: if you decide to buy this rubber, take it from official dealers with an extended warranty. It was very useful to me, both wheels that were torn by me (through my fault) were changed for free, for which Continental (and especially the exclusive dealer where I took the tires) have a lot of respect.

Pros
  • Handling, quiet tires. Extended Continental Warranty.
Cons
  • Indeed, not quite a strong sidewall. I bought a set 235/55/18 at the end of April 2022, broke through two wheels (sidewall) in three weeks. On the one hand, he himself is to blame in both cases, on the other hand, the old conti4x4 was stronger, and even when it hit the curb a couple of times with the sidewall, it survived.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

Has some pros: To date, and this is a little less than a month of operation, one can note the excellent handling of the car, moderate softness and acoustic comfort at an ambient temperature somewhere from +5 . Cons: As soon as the tire was installed on the car, it seemed very noisy, even the newly removed studded TOYO seemed an order of magnitude quieter. Until the tire warmed up, the noise seemed to be very significant.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

They wrote that it was noisy and tough on the profile 235/45/17. It turned out the opposite: noticeably quieter and softer than the higher Pirelli Cinturato P7 that stood earlier. In the rain it behaves predictably, reliably (at a speed of 130 km / h on a toll road). It's the same with braking. For the city and good roads - a great option. On the other car there were Continental 3 - 5 seasons departed (about 100 thousand km). The durability of these will show time. Good test results (so far…

Pros
  • Good handling, soft, quiet. Low price for 235/45/17.
Cons
  • They "sing" at a speed of 140 km / h, but not loudly. The sidewall is soft, but the pluses cover this drawback.

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

I bought 245/45 R18 on A6 four-wheel drive, skated the season. I was looking for good tires for comfortable high-speed driving around the city. The impressions are extremely positive - I got what I was looking for, there are no complaints about the tires. They hold the road well, they hold it well on wet roads, I don’t intend to climb into a rut, the ride is smooth, there is less noise than from the Michelin winter Velcro (Pilot Alpine 4). There were no hernias, cuts and other nonsense…

Pros
  • Low noise level, good road contact in all conditions
Cons
  • When purchasing, I did not expect that the tire profile is so rounded (__). Before that, there were Michelins and the profile was |___|, which looked clearer and more interesting. In addition, I was embarrassed by the excessive gloss due to the patterns on the profile. But this is subjective of course. Now I'm used to it. There is a downside - the disc is better protected from grinding with a curb.

Before that, there was the same rubber (I skated on it for 5 seasons, it was worn out to the cord, there were several punctures and that’s all), but a slightly different modification of 94 Y XL has a stiffer sidewall and a speed index of up to 300 km / h, now 94W without XL and an index of up to 270 km / h, but this rubber is softer, of course it may seem, but at the end of the season I will unsubscribe as it will show itself,

Pros
  • Excellent tires, keeps the road, both on dry and on wet pavement on hard 5, in turns at speed it keeps well, does not drag
Cons
  • The date of manufacture 4021 is the beginning of that year, i. E. the rubber is already 1 year old (((

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

I purchased a Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 in size 225/45 17, I own 200 km of experience, so I can’t write much yet, so that’s what I noticed during this time, the management (tire recall) pleased me, I sometimes give it to a sneaker, and so it keeps the road quite worthy, sidewall tough, when pulled on a disk, barely pulled on, I also consider it a plus, well, subjectively, my feeling is practically not noisy. And, well, and most importantly, the price, I do not see competitors for this…

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Its pros: Comfort, not noisy, on water, like on rails, very reliable! according to my feelings in deep puddles it outperforms the Michelin PS4 (although it is a little wider) Got cons: poor disc protection (40 profile), narrow treadmill (compared to Bridge and Nokian)

Prior to this, Green 2 stood, went much quieter and softer. Although I took Kontiki just for the hook, but with this they are all right. When leaving the yard quickly, ESP does not wake up, and this has happened more than once on Nokian. In general, if you need comfort, then it is better to look at other Brands, Kontik has never been distinguished by silence. Well, if you still need safe driving and a minimum stopping distance, then the 6th Premium is for you! :)

Pros
  • Grip, handling
Cons
  • Comfort, noise, price

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

For a long time I chose tires instead of the regular Conti Sport 5. I chose Conti 6 and have not been disappointed yet. Speaking of noise, it makes sense to compare the tenacity of rubber with what I drove before. It will be helpful for the next buyers. I compare with Conti 5, Conti 2, Pireli 7. Conti 6, in my opinion, is definitely softer and less noisy than Pirelli, Less noisy than Conti 5, but about the same in grip. In shortcomings, he indicated hydroplaning in large puddles, but other…

Pros
  • Low noise, good handling, tenacity with the road, soft
Cons
  • Has not yet revealed, drove 1000 km, it's too early to talk about shortcomings. True, one moment made me wary: after a bald conti 5, I changed my shoes and in a downpour on the ring road at a speed of 110 km / h flew into a rut filled with water, felt aquaplaning. And it's on new tires. I drew my own conclusions. Be careful.

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

I purchased Continental Premium Contect 235/55 R18 tires in March 2022 and installed them on a Lexus RX 300. I have been using them for a week, before that they were NOKIAN HAKKA. The Continental is a fairly quiet, comfortable, soft tire. Handling is excellent, excellent braking properties, excellent road holding in the rain and on a dry surface. I travel a lot and on different roads. Then I'll write more.

Pros
  • Tires Continental Premium Contect 235/55 R18 quiet, comfortable, soft tire.

Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

I bought cylinders of this size at the beginning of 2022, after two seasons it was worn down to the “trash” level. In May 22, I changed one cylinder completely due to a side cut, and by the end of October, about half of the resource remained. Riding only in the city and the highway without gravel, at a moderate pace. Front-wheel drive, worn evenly on all 4 wheels. Road grip is excellent, no aquaplaning, of course, if you do not drive into the lake at 150 km / h, in general, driving performance…

Pros
  • Good grip on dry and wet pavement, excellent drainage
Cons
  • No wear resistance
