C7 Corvette Stingray Skip Shift Eliminator CAGS: Enhanced Shift Performance for Ultimate Driving Experience Review

I haven't installed this on my C7 yet but installed it on my C5 and it works as advertised. It's good if you can shift into 2nd gear and not 4th.

Works as advertised on the 2018 Grand Sport. Errors are not displayed on the dashboard. The notification will continue to appear while driving, but transmissions will not be blocked. Installation requires getting under the rear of the vehicle and will be difficult without lifting it up.

I hate missing a shift and to be honest I think it's dangerous, especially when you don't know it's happening the first time you drive. Even though I knew it was going to happen, I hated it. It was easy to install and worked flawlessly. In my opinion, that makes the car much nicer in the city.

This is the best thing you can do after the cut to get rid of that annoying 1 to 4 gear shift on Corvettes manual transmissions. I've been waiting for it to come out specifically for the C7 model. I've used them on all my Corvettes for the last 15 years. This device works great and I have no computer errors. If you have a manual transmission Corvette, buy one of these. Installation takes every 10 minutes.

I haven't installed this part yet but my friends have installed theirs and they say it works fine. Installation takes only minutes once you put the car on a lift and my best friend for life has his own lift in the garage. He has a very understanding wife. So if you have a stock Corvette like God intended the car to have, buy one of these and you'll be happy.

Please note that the Cass Wholesale gear skip fixer will NOT work on 2016 models. The white connector that goes into the sensor on the gearbox is not coded correctly (also mentioned in another review). I won't try to change it as it's a waste of time and money. Other suppliers may be ok but make sure the white connector is keyed/grooved on the sides when you receive it.

This is a simple kit that works great on my 2016 Stingray Z51. It comes with two connectors, a zipper and very simple instructions. The blue cable shown in the photos is not included. Basically all you have to do is disconnect the wire harness from the solenoid in the gearbox and put protective caps on both ends.
