Novelty on scooters

I chose the manufacturer and model based on reviews and price. I am an adult, 73 years old, an avid cyclist and planning to use this scooter in the spring. I currently have a 25 foot stretch in my basement and am training balance and braking with noticeable improvement within a week. The scooter is well made and durable. I don't know why the scooter had a plastic brace where the handlebars meet the post. Be careful when removing so that the part hidden by the plates through which the screw goes

Why haven't I seen this before.

Pipes and handles are made like a car. The deck is wide enough for any foot size. It's more stable than any other scooter I've tried (Razors, Hikole, other brands, etc.). The folding mechanism is the smoothest and safest of all. The handlebar grip curve is a boon for those who like to go fast and dodge obstacles with precision. It's also about the same lightness, maybe less weight, than other scooters. The lack of rear suspension was not a problem for me. My only concern is that the front wheel

Outstanding urban scooter the best among skates, skateboards and scooters

I wasn't sure about this scooter as there were no reviews at the time of purchase. This is a great scooter for everyday use. I've been riding it with my kids in my area for over a week now and am impressed with the quality, engineering and craftsmanship. It's super easy to fold up to throw in the car and it looks damn cool. Will give 5 stars for now; I hope it lasts! Rating update: After riding this scooter for about 1 year I'm deducting a star. It fared pretty well in terms of durability, and…

Very good scooter but parts are short lived

Update: One of the two broke after only a few months. Of course, it was the one that was used regularly. It was just a screw in one of the wheels. I would like to know how to get a replacement screw as parts have been lost. I ordered two of these because my kids are very tall for their age and outgrew their other scooters years ago. They were perfect as I bought them while we were touring the country. I was able to fold them smaller so I could pack stuff in my car to go home. The handles are…

Nice scooter, scrap tires

This scooter is great for commuting or casual trips. Don't think about doing anything else. The deck is extremely flexible, especially in torsion. If you just stand on one edge or the other of the deck, it will flex a bit. If you force the brakes, you can permanently bend the deck sideways. I thought I could at least practice steering on this scooter, but no not really, it's not sturdy enough for this type of activity. Although just kicking and running is quite comfortable and smooth. However…

London Gold City Series

I'm looking at a London Gold Scooter. I don't have much, if any, experience with scooters. The last time I rode a scooter was 8 years old. 30 years later I have to keep up with my 8 year old who drives a Razor A5 DLX. Both scooters are larger and suitable for adults. and I can drive both. The DLX is much smaller, shorter and lighter, the max handlebar height is barely enough for me (I'm 5ft 8in). I bought a London model and have been driving it for a few days. I was very impressed with the…
