This is a durable, easy to assemble and easy to use 3D printer.

I have several 3D printers. Out of the box, this is the easiest I've ever had to assemble and use. Most of the structure is made of aluminum and is assembled with strong and durable screws. First, the box is heavy. Much heavier than I expected. The packaging is heavy duty black foam with cut outs for the pieces. Most parts are pre-assembled and almost all wiring is right out of the box. Especially high voltage and anything that carries a significant current (extruder and heated bed). Base and Y

Who would have thought the fanboys got it right?

I'll start by saying that I'm not the average person who buys an Ender 3. This is my fifth 3D printer. I really looked at this new car as a starting point to understand what it was all about. I ordered a car and it came really faster than expected. It was packaged very well, nothing was broken. And indeed, what actually made me write the post and review the car as a whole was the very details and refinements I see. Even for a cheap entry-level printer, I was really blown away by some of theโ€ฆ

Too many quality control problems and too few instructions

This printer could be a lot better with a little more attention to quality from the factory. First let me say that once the product is assembled, aligned and functional, it is a great little printer. It's easy to use, once you get used to its features, you'll be able to print most things just fine if you have quality filament, and the speed isn't too bad considering the price. I bought this printer thinking it was basically assembled. It's not a difficult build, but the build instructions andโ€ฆ
