Type of review

I bought it to replace the ZXR, which finally tormented me with the game "see or not see" with the motherboard, that is, you just reboot until the wonderful board materializes. Here - everything is excellent. The sound is quite comparable with the ZXR, mb a little less dense and weighty, but even more in detail. I did not connect the backlight, because, as I wrote earlier, the FD R6 case is without glass and deaf. In general, a little expensive, perhaps, but the feeling is purely positive.

Pros
  • It looks nice (albeit in a tightly closed case :) ) Sounds at the level, no dancing with drivers and compatibility.
Cons
  • I haven't found it yet. and I hope I never find it. Perhaps. the price.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I took to replace a very similar Sound Blaster Recon3D, because. the last firewood for her was in 17. Externally, the cards are somewhat similar. The garland did not connect. Freshly downloaded drivers have been ated a couple of times. It took more time to install in the case. The sound is different. Here is better. The pop-up volume slider in Windows works without delay when you hold the volume on the keyboard for a long time. I did not understand how the columns are calibrated - it seems that

Pros
  • So far, definitely 5: in my opinion, the sound is cleaner and more voluminous, I picked it up even without drivers, the drivers themselves are downloaded and installed quite quickly, the control in the driver is also fast.
Cons
  • You could put down the microphone. It seems that AuraSync is not supported or I did not find something.

It functions perfectly, nothing unusual.

If you have good speakers or headphones, before that you always sat on the built-in and thought that a separate sound system is nonsense, then I recommend trying it, you will rediscover your acoustics. We compared the previous model (Sound Blaster Z, this card is its complete successor) with the MSI X399 motherboard and it's just heaven and earth. I do not recommend it, only if you have the past generation now, you will not feel the difference at all.

Pros
  • The sound is just great (before that there was X-Fi Titanium), the difference is really felt. There are no bass overloads, presets for various scenarios are built into the software, the sound as a whole has become more legible. In BF2042, I finally started to hear music at the end of the round, and not just explosions and gunshots.
Cons
  • Its biggest drawback is the periodic disappearance from the system when starting the PC! The software simply does not see it, you either have to overload the computer, or even turn off the power supply through the toggle switch. At what the same bug was with Sound Blaster Z and this has never happened with X-Fi Titanium! Only for this and beveled 2 stars, this fact is very infuriating.

Excellent product, the best quality.

I decided to give up headphones with a built-in sound card, and the reason for this was the breakdown of the card in the Creative Sound BlasterX H6. sat on the embed for a couple of weeks (Realtek® ALC892 Codec). Impressions from AE-5 Plus positive, it was worth it. I chose for a long time, Creative Sound Blaster Z, asus, AE-5. settled on the AE-5 Plus. The sound quality is "In my opinion and hearing" - but it is worth clarifying that the sound quality is also affected by what the user will…

Pros
  • Sound

Different pros: - A very powerful headphone amplifier that will pump almost any ear. - Excellent sound quality. - Ability to disable all "improvers" with one button in the proprietary software. - The quality of the sound card itself, including the element base and case materials. - The included RGB tape is attached to the case with magnets (you can easily remove it without damaging it). Got cons: - Lack of drivers for Linux. As in the review above, it was not possible to start with any kern

if you have a top-end Realtek 1220, then there is no point in buying. it will be the same just a little better. if you still need a sound one, or you want a different sound character, softer, then it’s cheaper and better to take Creative RX, it is also PCI-e 1x, so there should be space from the video card so that there is no interference. and if you have an old PCI slot on the board, then almost any creative with ebay + firewood from Daniel. I have an audigy se for 200r - a wonderful soft…

Pros
  • map appearance
Cons
  • the sound is loud and sharp like on a built-in, like on a regular AE-5, like on many Asus cards (except for DLX and some old models) interference from PSU and video card

I really liked the map. I connected a 2.1 system from edifier, and headphones from audioTechnica msr7. The sound is clear and loud, the music plays perfectly both in headphones and through speakers. I didn’t like branded improvers through the software, in my opinion they only spoil everything, so the card works for me in direct mode (without improvers). Initially, I chose between the older flagship model ae9 and this one. In the end, I don't regret my choice.

Pros
  • Price quality for your money
Cons
  • Didn't find

Its pros: The card is excellent, in comparison with the external IFI DAC, the difference is very difficult to determine by ear. I connected the diode strip directly to the motherboard, without the need to connect power to the sound card, but this is only for those who have such an opportunity. Its cons: The main disadvantage for me is that you can not separate the front and back panels as a different source, when connecting gaming headphones to the front panel and music headphones to the card i

I have extremely simple Thonen & Vander Grub BT speakers. And with Realtek, they farted rather than played. Previously, I did not understand why different equalizers are needed - I do not hear the difference. With this card, I can’t hear either, but I regularly switch, because the sound somehow gets better. A bear stepped on my ear But the music has become really pleasant to listen to. It doesn’t really help in games yet, because I play more with TV, and there I have another system connected.

Pros
  • Produces great sound You can connect the front panel audio jack
Cons
  • You have to switch presets, equalizers and switch from headphones to speakers.

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Got what I expected. Has some pros: Works out of the box. Quite good digital sound in HiRes format through optics on DAC, amplifier, speakers. Sound environment in games. The headphone output (gaming headset) gives a fairly high-quality sound in terms of detail, depth (subjectively, of course). There is also a whistle blinker in the form of customizable RGB backlighting and LED bulbs in the case. Some cons: If you do not be a person with initially-eternally overestimated requirements for…

OH PAIN!: Internal Sound Cards

For You Kids. In 1990 I was a teenager and the proud owner of an 8-bit SoundBlaster card. It WAS the bomb! Buying the "Creative 70SB174000000 Sound BlasterX AE-5 .PCIe Gaming Sound Card” seemed like a win as I have an ASROCK TAICHI motherboard with 16GB RAM and a 7i processor. I was wrong. The AE-5 sound card is so terrible I don't know if the card or the engineers and software developers are to blame. Pros: No. Cons: Volume increases and decreases randomly. I've given up controlling the base…
