    Cuisinart is not a reliable brand.

    Coffee pot makes good coffee as described BUT after only 3 uses when I added water for the new pot the water leaked through the shower head and dripped onto the counter. When they tried to get Cuisinart to endorse their product they offered to replace the coffee pot except they wanted me to pay $10 to send me a new one and paid to return my 3 day Sending coffee pot back to them cost me an additional $10, only $20 more than a defective replacement coffee pot!.     This filter coffee maker is fantastic! I bought it to replace my 10 year old.

    This drip coffee maker is great! I bought this to replace my 10 year old DCC-1200. Cuisinart seems to have made all the necessary improvements, but most importantly they have improved the temperature of the brewing water and the temperature of the carafe heater.     The heater plate corroded and rusted TWICE in one year!

    I don't normally leave comments but thought others should know about my experience. I have owned many Cuisinart coffee makers over the years. This will be my last. I bought the DCC-3200 in August 2016. We use filtered water and clean our coffee maker regularly. After less than 6 months of use, the black coating of the heating plate started peeling off and white spots appeared on it. The manufacturer replaced it free of charge under warranty. For the return I had to pay 1/3 of the total purchase

    OK. If you're looking for a QUALITY rating (and not something others haven't), here's what you need to know about this coffee maker. We bought this to replace the 12 cup Black and Decker we've had for years. Our problem with the BND block was that it filled the filter area with water and leaked everywhere unless the carafe was perfectly in the kettle.     Beautiful machine, delicious coffee and POURING SIMPLY EXCELLENT

    This review is for the DCC-3400 coffee maker with thermograph. This machine makes delicious coffee, has simple, intuitive controls, doesn't take up much counter space, and looks *really* good. I recently bought this to replace a similar Cuisinart I've had for over 12 years. And the previous one still worked fine - it just got dirty after so many years of daily use. I prefer to use a vacuum jug because I usually stretch the jug over several hours and the coffee gets a burnt taste if it is heated

    After much research I decided to order this coffee maker. Taking into account the negative reviews, my personal experience is mixed but mostly on the positive side. Some reviews mention the smell/taste of plastic. It WAS, but only for the first few pots. After the first few it was completely gone. And in terms of speed, how fast it makes coffee. This works well enough for me. It's ready before I know it. It has a lot of really nice features and it brews hotter coffee than any other coffee maker
