Fits Watts Whole House Filter System

This made my life easier when installing the Watts Whole House Filter on drywall. It's an inexpensive investment, otherwise you'll have to do it yourself. The only issue I had was that I had screwed a 3/4" Sharkbite fitting onto the Watts filter before attaching it to the bracket. Well, once these fittings have entered the filter, it is not possible to mount the filter to the bracket. To unscrew these fittings, line up the Watts filter inlet over the bracket, then screw the fittings into place.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Includes Negative

It works but I would repeat (in fact I did)

It works but you MUST install the mount and filter BEFORE each tube fitting - I mean if you have 2 solid items and need to get around tubes to insert into both elements, that element MUST be in the fixture FIRST, so it will not be easy to determine its length in a shark bite or any other type where length is critical (yes of course it is possible). You need a theme mod - simple as that. Do it in 2 parts. Make this bracket an OPEN U so you can put pipe in it and have a second (VERY cheap) L or J

This bracket is required to install a water filter throughout the home.

This bracket is required to reduce weight and torque when changing the filter on the pipeline itself. If you choose to install the filter without this bracket or something similar to hold the filter assembly in place, be prepared for future leaks due to the added stress on the plumbing when you unscrew the canister to replace the filter . This is an economical solution to the problem. Works and feels good. Besides that. Because the filter supports water connections in and out of the filter, it…

It seems wonderful. PEX 3/4 " line self-penetrates holes

Everything seems fine. PEX 3/4" line self-enters holes making it unreliable. I'm pretty sure it's normal to unscrew the filter housing. * The temple wings protruding from the wall and support tube are NOT RIGID and can be easily bent. For example, if you bend the fold back and forth a few times, it will break immediately. It looks good but we should have just made a mount like we did for another filter in the system. wall with 2 anchors; It holds the line and valve a few inches as well as the…

Works but could be better. Finished screws do not fit.

Matches the Watts filter housing perfectly as mentioned. Must be installed on the body before installing the inlet and outlet pipes. That creates the only real annoyance. When the bracket is on top of the filter housing, the housing effectively blocks access to the screws that attach the filter to the wall. While the screw holes in the bracket are slotted to allow the screws to be installed in the wall first, and the bracket slides over the screw heads and then slides down, it would be nice to…

it went well. Then he slowly turned the water on

PROTECT THE LEAK, READ>>>> After preparing the pipe for mounting the VCh-360A filter, I attached the UB-1 bracket to the Cover and installed the fittings and fixed to the wall. Pressure test to close the valve on the lid, no leaks, everything works fine. Then, as I slowly turned on the water, the transparent body filled with water and then leaked. I tighten the case with a wrench, still leaking. Checked the O-ring several times, no problems. I found that the strut kept the clear…

Significant modification required when using solder or snap-in terminals

I received this bracket, the only one I could find to securely mount my Watts HD-LD filter to the wall, so when I did changed the filter I didn't put any emphasis on the plumbing fixtures. Both brazed and highly recommended push-fit fittings will not fit fully into the filter housing even with this fitting, leaving about a 3/16 inch gap on each side of the filter. This keeps the filter on the wall but mostly wobbles like loose/letter paper does. You will need some almost impossible to find…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • There are shortcomings

Good bracket but the screws were the wrong size

This bracket was ordered to mount an Omni Corporation U25E water filter and it served the purpose well. (NOTE: The filter housing must be directly in the center of the bracket, otherwise the sides of the bracket may prevent the filter housing from fully screwing in and sealing). Bracket. To explain, before installing the water filter in my chosen location on the wall, I assembled the filter, bracket, and inlet/outlet pipes on my workbench. To do this, I first placed a bracket around the filter…

Better Than Nothing

Either someone changed the design or someone got it wrong. I've bought these [elsewhere] over the years and they were the right width for the water filter I bought. However, this time the bracket is 3/8" wider than the width of the water filter housing. {The bracket, filter housing and filter were sold as a 3 piece set} Also, I find the holes for the plumbing fixtures to be too large. I have copper tubing at home and I have 3/4" copper fittings used in the filter housing. The holes are so big…
