Strong and very heavy product. Protrudes further than most of our hitch receivers, but nothing special. Good delivery and perfect for our needs on the back of the Titan XD.

It's tough steel and the weight proves it. The hitch pin is too far out in my opinion and as a result this hitch sticks out a lot further than I would have hoped but I had to trust their design and we got 3,000 miles without a problem. It was just what we needed and matched our Reese WD clutch perfectly.

I have a 1000 lb Eaz lift weight distribution setup on my RV, I had a 1500 piston. I bought a 2500 piston and had to factor in the extra height on a bigger truck. and it worked great. The hitch height has been reduced by an additional 3 inches. Another notch to lower another inch if needed. The camper now pulls perfectly straight.

The hitch that came with my motorhome was not big enough. When I hooked up the camper correctly and parked my truck on level ground, the camper was too low at the back. I needed the extra drop that this stock provides because the hitch height on my new 1500 series Silverado truck is 2 inches higher than the hitch height on my old 2500HD Silverado. Find out. Need a longer drop bar for our 3 horse bumper trailer with leveling hitch. On long journeys with wind, the trailer moves, so it is really necessary to use an equalizer. Quality product feels very solid. I used this on my Heavy Duty 2016 to get enough drop for our 30ft TT. I used it with our EAZ Lift WD as the stock that came with it couldn't get the head down low enough to level the camper for towing this new truck. This CURT shank is a bit longer but that doesn't make a huge difference to me and might be helpful for some as it gives more room to lower the tailgate when it's up.
