Adhesive could be better

We received this for the 3rd taillight on a 2016 Chevy Silverado Truck (RV). We used butt connectors to connect the wires to the taillights. I will say that you need to connect them to both right and left taillights to work. We covered the turn signals and just used a broken wire. Worked very well but I have to say the adhesive on the back is not very strong. I would recommend finding an alternative if you want him to be liable. It doesn't have instructions, but the wire connections are prettyโ€ฆ

A great way to separate indicators from rear lights

Convenient cable management. Gives a wig to the headlights if you keep the existing brake/turn signal combo and just add the turn signal. The way I connected them is the original brake/turn signal works fine and I added an amber turn signal. When I press the brake pedal and the turn signal is on. The brake flashes on and off. and the turn signal flashes opposite the brake light. (Brake light on / turn signal off. Brake light off / turn signal on) The only problem is that when you turn on theโ€ฆ

Does what I want

I have a signature wrap on my 2007 Ford Ranger and the last owner never bothered to hook up a third tail light. The Ranger only has a left brake/right brake/tail light on a 4 pin connector on the towbar. After some research I found I had to connect to an existing CHMSL and run a bunch of wires under the truck, which sounded annoying. I bought this instead, hooked it up to the cap from a contractor's hitch, and it worked great. The lights come on when they're supposed to and won't come on whenโ€ฆ

He does what he says.

Well, I have a Jeep and it has rear and brake lights integrated in one bulb. I bought a couple of LED whips with brake light and tail light that require separate wiring for the brake light and tail light. This is one of the few modules I could find for it. I could create multiple relays etc to achieve this, but this does the job. There is very little delay between the rear lights on the Jeep and the activation of this turn signal. My solution would have caused the whips to turn on when theโ€ฆ

If you have a German car or LEDs, don't buy this.

Not working for my application. After spending countless hours trying to find the right module for my 2009 Audi Q5 I thought it would work but found I needed a PWM compatible converter that would take LED taillight signals, use an alternative battery power source and the trailer could output this information as required. I've flipped through dozens of pages of these modules without having a clear indication of which one is correct. After looking at the Audi Q5 quick install guide, they refer to

Matches my LED taillights with unexpected nuance

towing a 2021 Ford Ranger with my Class A diesel camper van and red brake lights, all LEDs. The device works as expected with two exceptions. When the brakes are applied in the MH and the direction is on, the yellow direction indicators on the Ranger will illuminate when the MH direction is off and vice versa. This will force ping pong instructions between MH and the car. Definitely gets your attention but I would prefer if they were in sync. Most confusingly, the red brake lights on the Ranger

Works Great!: Hitch Accessory

I bought this item to turn on a third brake light on my truck roof. Works perfectly! I only wanted to connect to the brake light on one side. This did not happen with a brake light that was only connected on one side (no output). At first I thought it was defective, but after thinking about it all night I concluded that it might need input from the left and right brake lights to turn it on and determine the correct output. It turns out that's true. After I fully connected all input cablesโ€ฆ

This unit works exactly as advertised. It allowed me to separate the brakes and turn signals on my Ford Explorer Sport Trac into separate wires. I used this to install an optional third brake light on my trailer. I bought an extra harness with 4 connectors and put a CURT converter between the connectors. I can easily remove the headlight and attach a trailer (with headlights) if needed. When I originally installed the headlight, it flashed along with the turn signals. With this CURT - 56196โ€ฆ
