It plugs directly into factory outlets and includes all the parts you need including a fuse for your Highlander and zip ties for cleaning your rig. Instructions for the Highlander 2015 are not complete. I have to say that the built-in fuse is in the engine compartment (it's not in the fuse box near the driver's knee panel).
