These tights saved my butt

I learned about compression while training for the Los Angeles Marathon. I invested in a pair of these tights and they have helped more than I could have imagined. I want to thank CW-X for helping me finish a race that had nearly half the competitors eliminated. In addition to the muscle fatigue fighting benefits and aiding in recovery, they've also helped me with mid-life attacks that hit you in places like the hamstrings and kneecaps. I've continued to use them for five half marathons and…

Just not as good as it used to be

A long distance runner, I used the CW-X about six years ago before switching to the 2XU. The CW-X's I used were Stabilyx and they offered good body support with fairly good exoskeleton support around the knees. Not exactly sure what it is with the CW-X today, but the compression just isn't there on this pair. Are those factory seconds? I had to return the first pair I received because there was a 1 inch hole in the left calf seam. Sent them back and got a replacement. They don't have the basic…

Offers great support

I have to admit I was a little hesitant to wear them in public. After all, they look a little unnerving to all but the most comfortable of people. I've only worn running shorts over them, cutting out the lining to reduce the visual impact. I use them mostly at temperatures below 40 degrees. They support in the right places and even made me a little faster. The extra support and warmth they offer is just what you need for those cold days when you want or need to run outside. One downside is that

Great for running and recovery

This is my first pair of compression stockings. The CW-X has a lot going for it: they're comfortable and breathable, I feel they wick sweat when I run, and they keep my feet cool in hot weather. Compression is excellent, with the band-like KT straps pressing on the thighs, hamstrings and calves. It is also woven to provide knee support. During interval training when I was really pushing myself I felt the effects of CW-X as I recovered faster from sprints and felt less tired after the whole…

Best full length compression tights for short to medium runs

I had the pleasure of purchasing a pair of CW-X Stabilyx compression tights early in the fall (2012) season. So far they've worked great. I love love love the feeling of extra support around the knees thanks to their unique design. The long waist is really good. The only thing that would make this product better would be if they had better "boys" support before compressing, similar to the skins cup design. A little background: I'm an ultramarathoner who runs 50-80 miles a week. . I have used…

Cadillac Compression Tights

I've tried a lot of running tights and compression pants over the last few years. One of the first ones I bought was from the CW-X. And then I looked for a cheaper alternative because I didn't have any more money. Some of my other purchases were fine, some didn't hold compression, some sagged and didn't stay in place. While all of my other purchases were cheaper, many of them quickly ended up on the donation pile, meaning I spent more money looking for my next option. Do you remember I'm not…
