The rope does not float and is not durable. The plastic cover broke off after a few rides and the grip quickly fell into disrepair.

I used this rope for the first time last weekend. I'm giving it three stars because there are two reasons I think are important for the rope this one lacks. First this rope sinks. I really wish it wasn't so. In fact, I initially denied it because the money I spent on what I thought was the best wakeboard rope and handle combo turned out to be missing the most basic feature.
