Perfect for my bikes and also reduces stress!

I was too cheap, stupid, too long. I should have bought one of these years ago. Installation takes about 10 seconds, and voila - no more hassle with the front wheel dangling, pulling the brake and steering cables, and generally pissing me off. I like it.

Pros
  • Including elastic strap that attaches the holder to the top tube
Cons
  • Some defects

Good quality and makes life easier

Inexpensive tool compared to similar tools. All are very expensive because they are just bent from thick wire, but compared to others it is worth it. I wish I had bought this two years ago when I first started fiddling with my bike and it is totally worth the money to get rid of the frustration of your handlebars constantly jerking and you, the bike frame, hitting and veering away from you, if you were trying to grab the brake or shift lever during adjustment. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Prevents handlebars and front wheel from turning when bike is on repair stand
Cons
  • Protection

Works well - best for older steel bikes

The holder has a curve to fit older steel bikes (see green bike pics) with round tubes. Fits on a more modern (carbon) bike but not perfect. Rotating the handlebars will raise the holder and remove it from the bike (e.g. in the hypothetical case you step on the handlebars while the bike is on the stand). However, you can't have everything and that works well. A velcro strap is included to keep it on the bike if it doesn't fit perfectly. Not sure if it's worth the price but this is the item you…

Better than the competition

Firstly, if you have a setup stand, you need one of these, period! My wife and I have several bikes. The two we ride most often are stored on a pylon-style rack that doesn't control the front wheels. I already have a park handlebar mount for my setup stand, but I needed a second one to use to steer the front wheel of a second bike on that stand, so I went with one of these as they are cheaper. When it arrived I liked it better as the finish is different and less likely to contain dirt that…
