Works well - battery life

I use it as a speedometer and odometer on my 1925 Ford Model T and it works well in this application. The T models weren't made with either tooling and this solves that problem nicely. It's tiny and I used industrial grade double sided tape to attach it to the dash with the included bracket. To charge, I simply unscrew it from the mount and connect it with the cable that came with it. I disabled it to save battery when I stop. This worked for a full day of the tour. It appears accurate and is…

Good bike computer, large easy to read display

My bike computer arrived sooner than I expected! Mounted and checked on the bike. I like the big screen and the fact that it's a GPS (not a magnetic sensor like my old one). I also liked that it has a backlight for evening driving. It was quite difficult to decipher the instructions, but I think I figured them out; just need the odometer to work on it (mileage was not recorded during the test drive). And for the reviewer (and everyone else) who was wondering if it's possible to change the…

Fun to assemble. Delete and repeat on every charge? No way!

Trying to understand the schematic instructions before attaching them to my bike, I innocently clicked "Bike Connector Mount" to "Computer ". Game over! Once connected, the two parts are permanently bonded together. This means the entire device and its charging mount must be removed off the bike (unless you have a USB power source less than a few inches away). That means you're pulling O-rings (aka "rubber bands") out of tiny mounting slots. An o-ring ruptured trying to do this. Then try to put

I would really like to see this article, but.

available. It just doesn't have a GPS signal in the wooded area where I live and drive most of the time. Loss of signal introduces significant errors compared to actual distances traveled. When I was driving on the street near my house, the unit of measurement was 5.7% smaller. During yesterday's 22-mile trip on the C&O Canal towpath, the error was as much as 30%! The Cycplus Wireless only logged 15.4 miles from an actual 22 mile ride. For those familiar with the C&O channel, I went back and…

The cheapest way to ride with a GPS bike speedometer!

This would be a 5 star rating panel for a very annoying point that has been mentioned countless times so there is no excuse that the manufacturer hasn't fixed it by now. There needs to be an explanation WHAT to set the timezone for it to work as it's not clear at all. I had to google world time zones to find out that US Eastern Time was actually world time zone -4. I never thought that this and the simple diagram in the otherwise good documentation would have solved all this confusion. Aside…

Reliable and practical GPS with some bizarre design flaws

In terms of features and design, this product gets 5 stars. Easy to read display with useful information. One of the reviewers stated that the fastening straps need to be removed - this is incorrect. To charge the device, simply unscrew it. I deducted a star for an obvious and strange design flaw and lack of proper tuning instructions. 1) Block FOUR indicates miles or kilometers. If you select miles, the device displays feet until it reaches 9,999 feet and then converts to miles. So 9,999 feet…
