I have owned several Cygo Light products over the years. When I saw this option for my aero bike I bought it immediately. My bike has a 2.5" deep rack so there are very few ways to mount the light directly to the rack and still get a bright light. The Cygolite Hot Rod works great on my rack and is even in full sun very bright I travel a lot on the Autobahn and draws attention to the flash setting even in bright sunlight Highly recommended!

I really liked the light including all the power settings. However, the breech was stubbornly difficult to fix. It crashed a few times while driving. The final straw was that I drove over a bump and the latch came loose, causing the device to hit the pavement and fly into oncoming traffic. I chose the Cygolite Hotrod 50 bike tail light because the reviews said it was aero strut compatible. I'm happy to report that this light fits my Pinarello Prince Aero seatpost with no problem. It also fits seatstays, however quite a bit of elastic is left on one side. This light is so bright I almost cum when I turn it on. I have about a dozen variations of this in what I call "Blitzerfriedhof" - a box of various "tried but not fallen" Materials for my cycling habit. This one is absolutely the best. I really liked how this light works. He is very bright! It has a nice glow/pulse mode that switches seamlessly between half and full brightness and lasts up to six hours on a single charge. The single strap design bothered me at first, but I've come to appreciate it more - I can light more things with a single strap more easily. I bought these Cygolite Hotrod 50 Lumens because I read how cool they are, small, light, good for an aero -seat post. It fits perfectly on my aero seat post on my TT bike. However, at 50 lumens, it's definitely not as bright as the others. My brother has a 100 lumen ApaceVision flashlight, it's a bit bigger but noticeably brighter. I don't know how true any of these lumen ratings are, but you can definitely see the difference. The silliness of hotrod, IMO, is that the LEDs flash while charging.

New review after 2 months: We liked the helmets we added to our helmets so much that we bought two more for the front fork. They are really bright but have variable settings and the charge easily lasts 4 dark hours every weekend and then recharges in about 15 minutes. No problem if they fall or need a safety leash. Reviews. The elastic strap is durable and the rubber pads on the back of the light keep it from slipping off our tapered forks, even on the roughest roads and trails. The bad news is
