🚤 Waterproof Submersible LED Side Marker Lights for Boat Trailers - CZC AUTO (2 pack) Review

When mounting on a boat trailer, be prepared to drill some holes for proper alignment. The supplied mounting bolts were virtually useless as when mounting to metal the threads were too thin to catch on the trailer's metal frame. A quick trip to the local hardware store was solved by purchasing stainless steel bolts, nuts and lock washers to prevent rusting. Overall a good experience.

I am buying these lights to replace the original lights on my boat trailer. These bulbs appear to be sealed/waterproof and are LED, which is a good thing. The plastic case leaves a lot to be desired. The mounting screw holes are not flush with the back of the case. When you install it and tighten the screws, the case will sag. I ended up putting some small rubber washers behind it to keep everything level. I wouldn't buy them again.

So let's be honest, when we buy these products we know that they can be damaged or defective. So let's look around and try to find the most reputable company to buy them from. Well look no further these amazing LED lights fit very well and are very bright. And the company has been great. I would recommend them to everyone. I would also like to add that in no case did I receive anything for free for this review. I paid for my products the same as most others.

I bought this on purpose because I have a tie down eyelet on the trailer with a central hole for wires. When I received them, the wires obviously didn't fit through the center hole. Wire gaps allow the wire to run around the body of the light fixture, but they can get caught or pulled out. it works. Contrary to other comments, if you connect any wire as ground - the 'white' wire must be connected to power - the LEDs won't work - I've tested both. The wires are thinner than I would like, but…

Faucets look great new and can be submerged in fresh water but are not designed or rated for use in salt water. I know from experience that soft vinyl insulation will absorb water and corrode untinned strands. Lamps must be of pre-tinned wire with rigid plastic insulation for use in salt water. I covered the wires and connections with silicone rubber to extend life. Update: Demoted as a user. As you can see in the picture above these lights are not submersible as there is water behind the lens.

I bought them for a boat trailer. I've only taken it to the lake 1 time. This is the result of a voyage a further 10 days after they were sunk. There's still a lot of moisture in there. I've only had them for 2 weeks and I don't know if they will hold up. As long as the LEDs work, water in the headlights doesn't bother me. But I have no idea if they will continue.
