I love this knife! in Kitchen & Dining

I really like the feel of this knife in my hand. The handle is very comfortable and the 10" length is perfect. Long enough to stick through anything but not so big that it's difficult to manipulate. I also like that it comes with a protective cover so the blade doesn't will be damaged when not in use If you need a knife like this don't hesitate to contact Dalstrong, great product!

Best Home Defense Blade in Kitchen and Dining Room

This thing has a 14 inch blade plus handle. Using this knife will make you feel like Conan the Destroyer. However, unless you're using it to slaughter cows in the field, you're more likely to use it against intruders than as a butcher knife. Also great for grilling and showing off to vegan friends. You really feel manly waving this beast on rib platters, or better yet, slicing hot dogs. But really, this knife is big, well made, and has a full-bodied scent, which is nice.

Excellent purchase! Best accessory for cutlery and knives

I didn't have high hopes for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. I was so impressed with this that I am now considering moving on to Dahlstrong when it comes time to replace my trusty Global knives. The big butcher knife I bought shouldn't be light, it feels heavy and strong. In this category, it's best to say that it's well balanced. Ergonomics; All I can say is that it's not bad to use, but it's a great knife/cleaver so I don't bone fish or work with it. I would recommend this knife and…

do you have strength

Big Ox is doing a great job! If you're good at wielding a flesh-slicing short sword, you'll love this one. Its grip is nothing fancy and don't use it with blood etc on hand but the steel cuts the man and pierces the cartridge, top cartridge and others with precision. It's not easy to get used to, but it can make the biggest cuts and make your life a lot easier. I love him and he goes with me to every store. I love the look I get when I take out this beautiful blade and I love the cuts it can…

Great knife, good for carving knives and forks

I make a lot of breast and salt my own bacon, so I often eat whole pork belly too. This knife is widely used. Most of the negative reviews are about the weight, but if this knife were any heavier it would really take Conan's forearms to wield the damn thing. In truth, the light weight is still well distributed across the entire 14-inch cutting edge, making this knife easy and precise to wield despite its sarcastic length. It's not a bone cutting knife, so it doesn't need anything else. the…

Inexpensive knife: cutlery and knife accessories

I work in a professional canteen kitchen where we cut the largest pieces of meat and fish at home. I typically cut 3-5 whole rib eye ribs a week and I use this knife to skin and slice whole sides of salmon, probably 15-20+ sides a week. He does his job pretty well. It came sharp from the factory, holds an edge well, is easy to sharpen and feels great in the hands. I prefer this type of blade to Cimitars for big cuts. The blade is fairly stiff and doesn't flex much from side to side, and the…

Good knife for the price

We are on our first trip through the jungles of South America and this machete serves us well. We're deep in the forests of South America in search of a new species of frog and have used it to slice through branches, specimens and vines along the way. Much better than gerberas! In fact, I may be writing this review after hacking enough disk space to get satellite coverage for the internet. Jokes aside, here's the review. I have many Dalstrong products and either meet them or miss them. I have…
