Five Stars - Starters and Alternators

Works great so far. Received within a few months. **Update** Launcher no longer works! Yesterday I had to evacuate the car. lasted 3 months. I knew that price was too good to be true.

They sent me a completely different starter first so I sent it back and got this one but it doesn't fit the car it fits, luckily I need this car not immediately

Jetta TDI 2002 with automatic transmission 01M.

Fits perfectly. I seem to have cured my long starting problems when the engine is cold. I also cleaned and lubricated my original starter motor but the problem returned after a few weeks. The rotation speed of this device is significantly higher than that of a freshly lubricated original. I hope I will do it for 15 years too! Great offer!

Starter still works great after 3 months

Starter still works great after 3 months. The build quality seems to be good. Fixed my slow start/hard start issues on 2002 TDI Jetta (automatic transmission). I've tried disassembling and cleaning/lubricating the existing newly installed "refurbished" Bosch starter in the car to no avail. Also tried clearing all ground connections with no improvement. This new starter did it. The car started right after installing the new starter. DB Electric Starter SBO0057 (Volkswagen Beetle 1.9L 98 99 00 01
