Best used air ratchet in boating and sailing

Works fine. Installation is difficult due to the internal position of the screw. It was difficult to get enough torque in such a limited space. I used an air ratchet to remove and reinstall the bolt.

the item will arrive on time. The product fitted perfectly. The company has also solved a recurring problem with bolt head play when installed on a Mercruiser marine engine. The package included a pair of reduced head size mounting screws that allowed for easy installation without the use of modified tools. Thank you DB Electric.

Best price anywhere and strong start!

came with new mounting screws, fits perfectly, the motor turns very fast. I am a master mechanic and was skeptical about buying a starter online. No longer! The last boat starter (from the dealer) cost me over $200. This one is only $43 and spins better! I have recommended DB Electrical to many people!

Chaparral 256 Starter

I have a Volvo Penta 350 GXI-F in my 2006 Chaparral 256. My engine was doing nothing when I was preparing it for the first dive. Season. After checking the batteries, my next stop was the starter motor. Since that's about 1/6 the price of a new OEM part, I didn't hesitate. Works like clockwork so far! Of course I couldn't move 2 bolts so the only boat mechanic I ever went to had it installed. He had to use a special socket and impact wrench to loosen one screw, which he sharpened to fit because

Why pay hundreds more for the same part? Or pay 4 times more for the name on the box?

05 Crownline 180br 4.3L Mercruiser Alpha Outdrive This DB electric starter costs a quarter of a Mercruiser replacement! And half the price of the Sierra it replaces! Same marine certifications, more torque than a standard starter but a lot less than others? The installation almost killed me and probably took my life! 6ft 4in tall and 200lbs trying to fit in a 2ft space and the job causing a hole a house cat couldn't fit is a nightmare! I will never do that again! Couldn't even if I wanted to…
