Excellent quality, exact fit, came with gasket and hardware, I've had no problems, works great with my 1997 Sea Ray Mercruiser 3.0 engine.

Specified specifically for Mercruiser 3.0 from 1995 but will not fit. There was a 3/8 inch offset to keep it from dangling.

Perfect fit. The boat caught fire immediately after leaving. Product shelf life information will be updated if it fails within a year.

I had to return the product it was good but it wasn't necessary because it was for the boat but the boat has been sold thank you.

This starter worked great on my Mercruiser 3.0 lx in my 1900 '97 Maxum! Much cheaper than many alternatives, fast shipping and what appears to be a good quality part so far.

I've used it a few times and it works fine. It's half the size of the original but fits and seems to rev the motor faster than the original so time will tell.

Fits 1987 3.0 Mercruiser. This starter is half the size of the original so making a rear mount for the starter is very important. Never use a starter with only one long screw and one short screw, always install the rear bracket before use. FYI, there is a threaded hole above the new starter motor on the engine block. Thanks DB

motor worked great and was pretty easy to install. It looked very similar to the OEM. However, a few months after installation, the bracket broke. This caused the engine to fall into the engine bay and we were left on the shore of the lake. I installed it in April or May 2021. It's August now. Maybe a faulty engine, but if for a boat then you'll probably find something else

Fits my 1989 Mercruise 3.0. It's a lot smaller than the original, making it easier to install the two poorly designed bolts that go into the motor 🙄. Because it's smaller I couldn't use the support bracket on the back of the starter. Aside from that, I hated this mount too. Haha, the screw is behind the fuel pump, so you can't unscrew it without removing the fuel pump 🤣. Bad design again. 😅 So better than the original for my app. 25 minutes to assemble the launcher, 4 minutes to install it.
