Perfect! for beginners

Worked great on my '97 Polar Trailboss. Be sure to buy a new Bendix along with it. Don't try to use the old one. You will only waste your time. Change both at the same time.

Exact replacement for starters and alternators

Perfect for the factory starter on a 1996 Polaris Trailboss 250. The starter works and has had no problems after a few months of use. For your information. Made in China but not found anywhere else.

Fantastic starter for starters

I bought 2 of these for my bikes. One was for a 2005 Polaris TrailBlazer 250cc and the other was for a 1995 Polaris Big Boss 6x6 400cc. They fit perfectly and have had no problems with them. I'll keep you posted if anything.

Lasted 7 months, but cheap

The first lasted 7 months, it could be me (doubtful), but again only 1/4 of the price at the dealer. I can turn them off myself in about an hour so it's worth it to me, let's see how long this one lasts.

It works great, my only complaint is that they are not waterproof

It works great, my only complaint is that they are not waterproof. The last one I bought had water in it and he threw it away. The second I took apart and sealed with red RTV silicone. Problem solved! 1996 Polaris Xplorer 400

Fits 1994 Polaris 400L Sport 2-Stroke Engines with Gasket Kit

Starter turns great, meets OEM requirements and works. Restored running 1994 Polaris 400L Sport 2-stroke engine. Gasket was included but poorly packaged and badly bent and crumpled in the box making installation difficult due to limited clearance/working space under the engine.

Fast shipping allowed me to get our old 1991 Polaris 350L 4x4 Farm Quad back up and running the same day it arrived.

In the past some small motor starters have been installed and you can usually tell the quality of a motor by the sound it makes when the motor is turned over. Was very impressed with the quiet and smooth turn on of this unit. Time will tell, but I'm hoping it's going to be a good stretch. It was also nice to see the test data sheet, which leads me to believe that the factory actually does some real quality control on their parts.

Could be a good substitute.

Purchased to replace slow starters in Polaris Trail Boss. Got up straight away with no problems. I used my old starter. I have a sealing problem. He is very thin. I used a #2 Form A gasket to make sure it was airtight. This starter is located on the underside of the engine, so water can get into the starter every time you wade. I also did a test to see the difference in amperage between this and the old one. This draws 10 amps more. But the old one worked very slowly. Didn't even start the ATV.
