Sometimes buckle straps are easier than ratchet straps.

Affordable straps to stow things in the bed of a pickup and attach a motorcycle bag when it gets windy. We use ratchet straps for heavy items, but they're quick and easy to tighten.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Don't remember

MOTORCYCLE TRAILER STRAPS

Exactly what I was looking for, very well made and strong 'old' straps with an aluminum tensioner and release mechanism, just no twisting or tangling of the strap in the Node. I would buy more but they last almost forever.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

This is what I've been looking for for years!

Couldn't find the zip ties we used for many years in the 70's and 80's. They have the hook shape, strength, holding power, quality locks, strength rating and length I was looking for! Very happy with this product!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Something different

Great straps for the price

I use them to tie off road bikes when I go for a walk. They hold very well, do not slip off even when slightly relieved or when they are wet. Makes loading and unloading easier as you don't have to struggle with the ratchet to tighten it. Great straps for the price.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • cord is shorter than others

But good for the price.

Not as well made as the ANCRA series. 40888 hook slightly smaller. The cam buckle mechanism has sharp curves that nylon straps must conform to. I suspect that chafing can occur with regular use. The nylon straps are significantly lighter. Nylon straps do not have loops that you can pull to tighten securely.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Will not fit bars

While this is a well made strap the hooks are not very well designed. The hole is smaller than the capacity of the hook. It's a shame when a product doesn't meet your expectations. I had to use a larger S hook to connect the bar to the strap. Dissatisfied with this point, I found a solution. This makes me dissatisfied with online shopping.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Availability of Replacement

Does the job but installation should be easier

I use them to mount recumbent tricycles to the back of a Pacifica minivan. Trikes aren't heavy (35-60 pounds) but I still don't want them flying with sudden stops. I chose cam straps to replace the tricky ratchet straps (which often get tangled or snagged) for an easier and quicker setup. They are clearly better than ratchet straps for easy adjustment, but they are NOT quick to adjust. Threading the strap through the cam buckle is not easy enough. The lever on the cam spring needs to be longer…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
