This is a great replacement battery for my Dewalt 16 pin nailer. I bought a nail gun in 2005 and didn't use it much but the batteries were dead. A replacement Dewalt battery is over $150, so these TWO $30 batteries are just what I need. I hope Dewalt feels it where it matters.

bought these for a deck project. Let them charge in my charger. made 1 cut and he died. Bought and charged Dewalt batteries at Home Depot. Cut 25 Dewalt batteries before they needed recharging. It is also very difficult to remove batteries from recharging tools. I don't understand why the rating is good. garbage batteries.

Two problems: battery life is about 10 minutes and packaging is difficult to remove from tools...20 minutes wasted...tried to free...knuckles broken and bleeding out.... had to get some 4" jawed pliers to press the release buttons... now use velcro to hold the packets in the tool? I've never felt so left out. Complete RUBBISH.

I have quite a number of Dewalt tools that use these batteries and of course all my batteries die at the same time. Replacing with original Dewalt batteries would be quite expensive. Since I only use tools intermittently, I wanted a more economical option. These conventional batteries charged instantly and worked well for the short time I had them.

As with most other low reviews, the battery life is terrible. Estimated 3.6 Ah is a bull. My original DeWalt battery has a third of its rated life and is lasting much longer. On my signature DeWalt battery, I ran 8 bolts and maybe 50 deck bolts, which was probably half the charge. When I switched to this battery I didn't even turn 40 deck screws before it failed.

Only used a few times so far. Charged them up as suggested in the package and then used one that lasted long on the jigsaw. When it ran out I got a second one, which doesn't last half as long as the first on a full charge, but using it in a shock drill before you make a final decision, deWalt batteries last a lot longer, but also cost four times as much .

The battery was replaced with a dead battery because. Original not found. I originally planned on transplanting it to my home building, but now I use it in a way that despite the inconsistency of the latches, it'll hold pretty securely in the nest.
