Item arrived nicely boxed; no blister pack. The kit includes a variety of filter socks to choose from. Precise cable connector suitable for the vehicle wiring harness (99 3000GT). It is easy to replace the old one with the new one and install it. Tested pump with accumulator before installation in the tank. Worked fine, engine started! No problems, money well spent!

It was installed in my 2004 Corolla but was about 3/8 inch larger making it almost impossible to install. The one I was able to install failed. This is the fuel pump part that was provided to me when I searched. Will not fit Toyota Corolla 2004. I would like to return it if there is a warranty clause. If not, I know I won't be buying this brand again. If I can return it I will revise my review after I receive the correct device.

I have absolutely no idea about fuel pumps. So I was a bit disappointed when the item arrived with no instructions. I have a 2005 Kia Sedona with a lock nut feature. As I pulled out the fuel pump, I saw where this item would fit into the housing. After a few inexperienced mistakes I finally got the new pump in the case and hooked it up properly. If you are installing this in a Miata you will need to cut the wires on both the old pump connectors and the new one. Make sure you have a crimping tool and a wire crimping tool. You'll understand what I mean when you get there. Also, just discard the bottom rubber element on the old pump, but keep the old strainer. Had it in my 2003 F-150 4x4 5.4L Triton now and works great. I had to remove the fuel tank, install it, and it's been a few months and it's working great. The device is not "loud", does not "hum" and does not sound like it is working too much.
