Holds my bike securely in the back of my truck

I used a bike rack that attaches to my truck's receiver to transport my bike. It was loose and I felt like the bike would be vulnerable if someone hit me from behind. When I got this bracket, I removed the tailgate trim and installed it so it was 13 inches above the truck bed. Now the bike rides safely in the back of a truck, safe. I wouldn't count on a locking mechanism to deter theft as, as another reviewer wrote, the other side of the skewer would be easy to detach. Another problem with the…

Excellent quality fork hitch for the price

I use this in combination with a Delta Cycle bike hitch and a Saris Triple Track bike carrier. Delta couplers are very good for the price. The Bike Hitch Pro is solidly built and runs quite smoothly. The locking lever is a great benefit when you need it, but when you have a number of bikes and wheels mounted close together and close to the inside of the truck body, it can be a bit difficult and awkward to get to. hand tighten only, especially given the small size of the plastic nut on the…

Ideal for transporting my bike in a pickup truck

I bought this bike hoping it would make transporting my road bike in a truck easier and safer (because it won't fall out or be stolen, see photo) . ) . I have used several ratchet straps in the past but it has been difficult, time consuming, awkward and not very secure. My bike got lost and fell off while riding, but luckily it didn't fall off! After this naughtiness, I bought it and screwed it to the back of the truck bed with two large self-tapping screws. It changes the world. What's the…

The perfect budget DIY car mount!

Last year I installed two of these units in the trunk of my Ford Focus (where I was most comfortable drilling holes in the car). Place the front bike fork in the bracket and use 200# suction cups on the roof for the rear tire or use a ratchet strap around the roof and cab to hold the rear tire in place. It can look a bit odd when not in use, but when there are two mounts they are symmetrical and not out of place. Do you want to store your bikes safely? Just add your bike's lock that you use to…
