🔧 Enhanced Denso 950-0205 Fuel Pump Mounting Kit for Improved Performance and Durability Review

Just like the OEM in a 2009 Toyota Camry. Installation is very easy, just pay attention to where the o-ring that comes with the kit is located. The pump restored power and saved me from long starts.

Runs like a champ It had a long handle as if the car wouldn't start The original pump went over 230,000 miles with it It was a low pressure good enough to just run the long handle , in which I now feel safer

The car started normally when the engine was cold (after a few hours of inactivity). When the engine was hot (immediately after driving) it started normally. The car did NOT start when the engine was warm (rest between 30 minutes and 1 hour). All signs pointed to a defective fuel pump. Replacing this part solved the problem! Saved a lot of money on a DIY project!

So far so good. Installed on Camry 2.4L 4 cyl. After 190,000 the original pump was weak and had high resistance so I needed a replacement. The dealer said almost $400 for the pump alone so I gave this pump a try for less than $100. It arrived in a plain white box, but as far as I can tell it's a genuine Denso OEM part. It was a direct fit and the original connector matched. Wound up immediately, the car ran out of gas. If I encounter any performance issues I will update my review.

It was a lot cheaper here than any auto parts store. I have to say it's a lot less than I expected though. It must have a high power motor to generate the pressure needed in such a small package. It was easy to install. I figured I'd have to drop the fuel tank to put it in, but there's a hatch under the passenger seat to get there. I pulled the old one out and put the new one in.
