🔧 TABIGER Desoldering Wick & Pump Kit: 3 Solder Suckers & 2 Solder Wicks for Effective Solder Removal Review

I have been soldering guitar circuits for many years without unsoldering or soldering the braid. I don't know how I lived almost 25 years without her. Worth every penny! As for the quality of the product; looks good and should last a long time.

I used it to remove the joystick from my Xbox controller. He did his job excellently. The build is average at best. The suction power is good but I really don't expect them to last as long as the original Soldapult. For the price they are pretty good. Haven't used wicks yet.

Wow! What a great price for such a combo set! I couldn't find this value set on ebay or anywhere else! I love that you get 3 suction cups! Surprisingly well built. It doesn't look like it's going to break in a day or two! The wick is a lovely addition to this combo, the tiny and cute box it comes in fits anywhere! Very very nice!

I didn't really need pumps for tin removal, but I didn't need three wick coils either, that was another option I found at the time, plus it was cheaper. So I thought I'd take the one with the pumps. The wick is perfect and if you have never used it for desoldering. It should be. The pumps work well and are good for removing large blobs of solder around the vias. This is good value for money.

I am submitting this review in the middle of a cycle as they may not work as well due to operator error. I haven't had to solder in several years so I got a little rusty. However, I have never soldered anything. Desolderers might end up being too big, but I'm not sure; it is about 1 mm in diameter. Dismantling wicks works somewhat; I may not be using enough extra flux to soak up the old/excess solder (as you can see in the YouTube video).

I got these suction cups for desoldering the PCB key switches. Did its job and seems to be working fine. The solder came out fairly easily when I reloaded the nib. I haven't tried the more expensive ones, which might work better, but it's worked fine for a couple of switches I'm working on. I've only used the included desoldering braid to test it on a drop of liquid solder and it seems to work fine too. I recommend if you need a cheap solder sucker.

Suction cup tip too wide for what I used it for (replacing mouse buttons on a Logitech M570) and couldn't get it to make a seal for vacuum operation. It would be nice if the tip was a lot less. I've never seen solder with such a wide tip in over 25 years as an electronics engineer. The tip is so wide that it looks like what's left after cutting off the end of a regular tip. Unfortunately these solder suckers are either too poorly made or just not big enough to suck up solder properly: even with huge molten drops they can't Suction between 1/3 to 1 /2 Sphere, which just doesn't intersect. I don't care if you get 3 and 2 rolls of desoldering wick, or if it's "Revain's Choice" for the desoldering pump, if it doesn't suck, it sucks and I recommend you don't buy it!
