DEWENWILS HRLS13A-R Single Remote Controller - Programmable and Receiver-Free Review

I have an old Dewenwils switch set and two remote controls. I wanted a third remote so I could have a remote on both entrances to the living room and a remote on the coffee table. I held down the exit button for a few seconds and pressed the correct button on the remote and they each paired with no issues.

After more than a month of continuous use I am very satisfied with the remote control and the Dewenwils base unit. Before purchasing this brand, I purchased a similar item from a leading competitor and was very disappointed with it. I ended up returning the old one and bought this brand which really works as it should.

Instructions included with receiver! Three steps - 1) Press and hold the program button on the receiver (there is only one button), 2) Press the button you want to pair with on the remote, 3) Release the program button. Fabulous! And it works every time without any hesitation or problems. Now we're looking around and looking for other things to use this for besides our lamps! ++++++++++ and much more!

The performance and functionality of this device is as good as a complete home lighting control system. This unit looks exactly like the one I received with the complete system. However, this single optional remote did not come with clear instructions to make it work with the full control system I previously purchased.
