No drop for the Tundra 2006

Installation was a little tricky, I managed to bend some metal to fit (Tundra 2006). I also removed the side rail covers and attached them directly to the bed rails (the rail pads fit nicely on top). Haven't used it yet so can't comment on durability.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fragile

Perfect fit for 2012 Tundra Double Cab

Perfect fit for my Tundra, looks good too. Due to the curvature of the bed, you have to put it aside. At first I didn't think they would fit because I tried installing them facing the bed first and you have to put in the outside first if I remember correctly. they only go in one direction. lol

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Nothing

A simple solution that works at low cost

Installed in the top lane of my old truck. Easy to install after I found that without instructions you have to fully unscrew the screws to insert into the cavity. Straps have already been installed to hold the load in the landfill and anchors have been found that are reliable and easy to use.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Empty

Easy to install. Once you know how

The hooks didn't come with instructions so at first it didn't look like the part would fit in the receiver. I thought it might be blocked by the skin. When I saw on YouTube that you have to back out the bolts to the hilt, turn the part sideways and then tighten, it was a matter of minutes. Otherwise, I can't wait to use them.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Concise instructions

The first broke during installation. Do not use the power driver to install.

They fit my 2013 Tundra. However, the first one I installed had the plastic top crack during installation. I turned the screws. You only need to tighten the screws slightly. There were no installation instructions, no warning not to overtighten. I'm trying to weld a JP for a solution. Just take a look.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No performance

Ideal for outdoor use Accessory

These are perfect for the 2001 Toyota Tundra and then the 2009 Toyota Tundra. They are perfect for top necklines. I don't know why Toyota doesn't just make them standard as that would take away too much profit. I think only that brings sales. The quality seems solid. The forks were a bit short so you'll have to move them around to fit. But overall 5 stars because they work, fit and do what they are supposed to.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Not an easy fit for a 2006 Tundra

These brackets will NOT fit my 2006 Tundra Limited Pickup! Very disappointed as I was in the middle of a busy move and needed something quick for additional mounting options. Now I'm sitting in a box in the garage until I can spend a few hours getting them to work like they should. It is necessary to grind the metal that interferes with the hidden clip to attach these fasteners. Compare two pictures. Sanding with a Dremel tool doesn't help. This has to be done in all four places to make room…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
