Very useful cookware

We have a gas stove. We can't get it low enough to cook certain foods without cooking, sticking or burning. A few years ago I bought a non-stainless steel diffuser. It always looked terrible (rust and stains) and the cheap wooden handle fell off. I was very happy to find this product which is an improvement over my original. Stainless steel will not rust, the handle is also stainless steel and folds onto a platter for more compact storage. We've been using it for over a year now and are very…

Works perfectly! Best in Cookware Accessories

I use this when making large pots of soup, stew or gumbo that take a long time to cook. Even on low settings, my gas stove ignites some of the pot's contents, making the whole batch fun. that prevents burning. I put it on low settings between the burner and the pot. Nothing has burned yet. I don't have to constantly stir the contents. A little discolored, but it will not affect the work. Think of the colors of the motorcycle exhaust pipe where it connects to the engine. Also, use a little…

Heat, cook slowly, simmer - do not light the food or the pot!

Had one a few years ago, got lost and was lucky enough to find it on Amazon. I have a more common one with a wooden handle, but the handle chars after a few years of use. The one I bought is easy to clean and it's great that the handle folds down for less storage. I believe this one is made or sold in England and is very difficult to find here. I use this specifically when I'm making a large pot of sauce that needs to cook for at least an hour and you don't want to burn the bottom of the pot or

An absolute must for Furrion RV panels.

We got a new motorhome and the Furrion kitchen range is set to "High, Medium-High" according to the manufacturer. So we can't do without just cooking soup or gently cooking fish. If you squint, you basically get medium or well-done meat. It's the only thing that makes a kitchen suitable for many things like soups, sauces, rice, fish, tender vegetables, etc. Just throw it on the stove and then place a pot/pan on top. It easily converts the full setting of our hob's "Blow Torch" into gentle…

Discoloration and sticking to the board after 1 week of use

Edit: Don't buy it. I changed my rating to 1 star because not only did they discolor the first time I used them, but they started sticking to the metal of the gas stove after about a week of use! They also turned brown underneath as if burned. Something seems very wrong and I won't be using them again once I get new ones from a different brand. If you have a gas stove, don't buy it. Original review: I just got it. Keep in mind that I've only used them once, but that's why I'm writing my review…
