Grainy image quality.

Poor resolution for a digital microscope - it's grainy at the full 640x480 resolution, making the fine details I need to observe almost invisible. There are better microscopes. To make matters worse, the software disables many of its most useful features if you have one of their bottom endoscopes. Since I need to observe and measure an angle I now need to save the image and then transfer it to Photoshop where I have a template that gives me the angles I need to compare. There's no excuse for…

Works perfectly. according to fashion. Mobile use requires a compatible device and an OTG cable.

There were great difficulties when operating as a portable hand microscope. Worked great on PC, connected and seen there with no issues, but I bought it specifically for its portability. I first had to buy an OTG cable to connect my microscope to a handheld device - no problem, only $6 at Revain - then I had to buy a new phone or tablet - I put it off, a 5 year old phone with one replacing cracked screen That's what prompted me, but there's no concrete information on which phone/tablet will…

Received this as a supplement to distance learning for my son and daughter. Okay, okay, I admit I thought it was pretty cool too! It was a nice little tech toy that I could afford and so useful that my wife didn't complain that I bought it. It works great, better than I expected and not as good as I imagined.
