Does a good job!. A threaded screw with a large handle fell from the bolt holding it. I think the bolt and lever should keep it from rattling. Anti-rattle installation instructions are terrible - can't read pictures - bad pictures. Thankfully, it sits snugly in the hitch and doesn't look lopsided like some reviewers did. My big use is to keep cars off my rear plastic painted useless bumpers (on most cars today).

Very good for outdoor accessories

It's heavy, bigger than I thought and looks really nice. I bought it mainly for protection if someone hits me on the back as I'm on the go all the time. I stepped on it (all my 165 pounds) and it looks pretty solid. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because, as other buyers have said, it slants a bit on one side, doesn't stay quite straight, and if I remember correctly, someone who wrote a review about it said wrote that this could be repaired. . I didn't really go into it because it doesn't

Pros
  • Pleasing

  • Good but not great

Bent on arrival :( for clutch steps

step fitted yesterday and it looks bad should I just return it or try lifting it to the side to straighten it? Update : 6/5/2017 Thoroughly inspected this weekend hoping to fix it myself The step tube and square extension are welded in good alignment Jacking up the side of the step can bend the step tube hence this do it yourself -Repair is not good After some time of measuring with tape I found the cause - the holes on the left in the square extension are offset 1/8 inch from the holes on the…

Crooked. Bad craft. But would come back.

Leaning. Which is utterly disappointing and utterly ridiculous. You have ONE job! Even with the stabilizer bar, as another viewer mentioned, the handlebars are completely bent from the drilled holes. I use mine in the front hitch of a stacker truck as a work step and to mount street lights. If I hadn't already (properly) drilled holes to mount lights I would be returning this item. Luckily I have a multi-mill to fix the poor design and build so I was able to ream the holes a bit to make a bevel

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Base required
