I wish they existed when I was younger! I gave in and bought these for both knees with a fabric knee pad to wear underneath. I would not recommend wearing them without a knee brace as the flows that allow you to bend your knee may compress your skin. I'll be wearing both relentlessly when I play soccer when I'm 35 and it's amazing! Due to its unique design I had to try it as the normal neoprene sleeve with two loops and two velcro straps didn't work. I have an issue with an old anterior cruciate ligament injury that is causing instability and pain after an active week in hilly terrain.
