I like this door accessory. Such an elegant and unique device. Worth every penny. When everything these days requires some sort of electronic connection, it's so nice to find unique, aesthetically pleasing instruments like this. Recommendation: Install the professional version if you don't like manual work. Nothing complicated, but for it to look its best, install it properly.

I'm very surprised that the comments don't mention that the person behind the door CAN SEE INSIDE. Nobody controls? The view from inside is blurry but the person in front of the door can easily tell someone is looking at them. You can see the face and objects in the room at an angle of about 8 degrees from the center. The product seemed like a great idea at first glance, which is why I give it 2 stars. Good Quality. This gives a good picture of the other side of the door, but there are a few factors that I feel are not addressed in the product description. I bought it for the side door of my garage. There are no windows on this side of the house, and instead of putting a window in the door or replacing the door, I opted for a door view. One of these was on display in a shop I worked at about 25 years ago. (Not new technology as the box says.) It looked impressive on display, but not so much…
