it worked great for my application

Worked great for changing the fuel rail on my 5.0 to another car. No leaks, no fuss. As a previous reviewer noted, the notch on my fitting was also 5/16". Don't worry, it's a perfect fit for my application.

Pros
  • Officially only dealer parts now available on the aftermarket
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works great but check hose connector size

This item (and matching connector on the discharge side) is exactly what I needed to re-route the fuel lines for my engine swap . However, note that some sites list this as 3/8" instead of 5/16". Even the package I received was printed in 3/8", but the jagged part is 5/16". It looks like most of the entries are now fixed and I've adjusted my fit to work well, although as suggested I would have preferred 3/8 inch.

Pros
  • New products, new solutions, new features
Cons
  • Hard to tell

What is this device for?

This product was absolutely useless for my application. Was looking for a fitting to connect a rubber gas line to a Ford, fuel injection, fuel filter to use an external fuel pump to power the engine as the fuel pump in the tank had failed and there was 55 gallons of fuel in the tank which had to be removed , before the tank could be lowered to gain access to the storage pump. Also so that I can drive the vehicle while the engine is being fueled by an external fuel pump to take it to a repair…

Pros
  • High quality materials used
Cons
  • Secret
