Good product, best in category Pipes & Kits

I would use a Ford works pipe but it is already on order. The hose is ok, the hoses are still ok, but the clamps are worthless. Find different clamps and should do the job.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Nothing

Ok but a little tight!

I works as expected. You have to move a little to get it right. No, do not try other boots as they will most likely fail. Use the kit as is and you shouldn't have any problems.

Cons

Looks great, boots are removable

Looks great. Both ends broken off. I tightened the clamps until they were absolutely tight. Even so, the boots fell off. Not sure how to solve this problem. I bought Ford spring clips hoping it would help.

Not a very good construction for the price

This is NOT a well made product. I think my friend with his manual pipe bender would have done a better job. If you are looking for a quality product, don't buy it. Check out my photos of what it looked like out of the box. I don't care if it doesn't leak on boost below 30+.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Functionality

old boots within the first month

this was on my truck for less than a month and the boot snapped on a full size truck. Bought from Revain in 'very good' condition, in the original unopened packaging. Dorman considers this a third party and sells without warranty. I knew the bouncer made lower quality parts, but I didn't think they could make such a simple part with such low quality.

Pros
  • don't waste too much time
Cons
  • secret

Outstanding concepts: OE plastic for metal and special ring.

Outstanding concepts: OE plastic on metal and special ring clamps. Almost a direct replacement, but difficult and time consuming to manipulate into position. To make installation easier and faster, both flexible hoses should be 1 inch longer. Make sure the clamps are tight and carry a 15mm muff for a few days just in case.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Drill kit

DO NOT BUY the best piping and piping sets

Good looking and well made. There are no installation instructions. I installed it on my 6.0 liter Powerstroke. The pipe came loose three times before I tightened the clamps very tight (mostly to the bottom). Then, on a test ride, I blasted the bottom silicone boot (included). My motor is stock and the boost sensor showed in the normal range (about 20 to 22). I replaced this item with a regular Ford pipe (black plastic). It seems to work. DO NOT BUY THIS PART

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Be careful before buying.

dressed Friday by Wednesday the pipe slid onto the Autobahn, luckily I had tools with me in case that happens, of course the pipe itself is about 2 or 3 inches smaller than the OEM. It comes with 2 silicone boots, one long and one smaller. I think he needs 2 long silicone sleeves instead of a small one, I don't want to return them because I need my truck to work so I'm just trying to order a longer silicone sleeve. Sleeves, hope it doesn't blow again.

Pros
  • Good to use
Cons
  • old
