Installed on a 2008 Chevy Colorado. Because the truck consumed a lot of fuel. And he hesitated, and sometimes it took several times to start the truck to get RUnnong. Put this part in the same way as the OEM and you'll have great gas performance again. Please note that it took about a day to set it up properly with a computer and disconnect the battery prior to installation!

Excellent value for money. 04 GMC Canyon, installation was easy. USEFUL part. Before tuning I received several different check engine light codes. Changed the spark plugs and coils and cleaned the air intake but the Canyon truck ran rough. Also after revving the engine or sometimes during the starting process. The installation helped fix the car idling.

2008 Chevrolet Colorado with 5 cylinder engine. Had a very rough idle when starting. It paced for about a minute, wanting to stop. I replaced that and the problem is 85% better. Huge difference. It still works a bit strange for the first 30 seconds. But this part was easy to replace, it's cheap and I'm very happy with it.

Bought for a friend's 2005 Chevrolet Colorado (74,000 miles). Installation is very easy, takes about 5 minutes. The truck was idling, almost stopping in the driveway. Once installed, this part works like new. A friend drove the truck to a local shop prior to the installation and they diagnosed that the timing chain needed replacing, they wanted almost 2,000. Fixed his truck for $33. Box Store (Arizona) wanted 98.50 for the same part.

As mentioned, this should probably not be used in a 4.2 I6 engine. I replaced my original solenoid valve due to a leak and it worked fine. I may have gotten a bad one but after installation I have a bit of a choppy idle, my gas mileage is terrible, it feels a lot slower at lower rpm, runs/sounds like dog shit once you hit 3k rpm and don't even try turn on the air conditioning. I took it out and replaced it with the original leaking solenoid and no problem.

Installed this Dorman 917-010 drive on my colleague's 2004 Chevy Colorado 4 cylinder automatic pickup. The truck had a very rough and unstable idle, sometimes stalling when stopped in motion.
